Accessing Blackboard at Sea

Accessing Blackboard at Sea

Postby IP Hokie » Thu May 01, 2014 3:05 am

I am working on my M.S. at the NDU iCollege and all of the distance learning classes require the use of Blackboard. I am headed back to sea, to a CVN, this fall and am considering continuing my DL classes, but am not sure how well I'll be able to get online and onto Blackboard to do my work. Anyone had any experience trying to do this at sea recently?

On a side note, anyone tried to keep up distance learning M.S. courses on deployment? If so, would you do it again?

Thanks!

If you'd be able to do it on any ship, a CVN would be near the top. The only ships above CVNs would be the fleet command ships (i.e. BLUE RIDGE, MOUNT WHITNEY, etc).

I had a hard time accessing it from the CVN and LHD. I usually had to have my husband send me stuff and post the stuff I needed posting.
